Preferred Reimbursement Plan




  • Ascension’s “Preferred Reimbursement Plan” (PRP) is a 100% Employee funded medical expense reimbursement plan, which allows employees to be reimbursed for qualified out-of-pocket medical expenses that their health insurance plans do not cover (e.g., deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance)
  • The Plan provides 75% coverage for unreimbursed medical expenses up to $10,000 for Individual and $15,000 for Families
  • Participation is at no additional cost to the participant
  • Most enrolled employees shall see lower annual income tax
  • Most enrolled employees will have in increase in take home pay
  • Has No effect on any existing benefit programs you’re currently offering
  • Facilitated completely through payroll and administered by The Preferred Group
